![]() ![]() The E85 profile says Quasi Functional and doesn’t have the F3 UIF choice on my version, so I did an Information report instead (F2) 2-You’ll see a list of all control units with their ZUSB number and VIN. You will need to setup the correct Com/Port setting using Device Manager. 1-Open INPA>select your car model (E60)>Functional Jobs>F3 UIF. It is imperative that this is done correctly because this is the link between the INPA software & your car. Once you have successfully installed INPA, you will need to install the drivers for the cable. Theses installations make changes to your OS registry & if the data files are corrupt this is what could damage you OS. Then follow the installation steps one, two & three. I installed INPA on to an old laptop that I run virtual copies Windows XP & 7.įirst you will need to copy all the installation files to your C: drive. Because of viruses or corrupt data files that could damage your OS. If you are running Windows 10 you will need to download the most up to date version off the internet.Ī WORD OF WARNING! I would advice not loading any unauthentic software on to your main PC. The CD that came with the cable may be a copy for Windows XP or Windows 7. There are different ways to install INPA depending what operating system you are using. I’ll explain the basics & give you a link to a good video.
